Celebrating One Year of Umbrella Wellness Center: A Year of Growth, Recovery, and Hope

In January 2025, Umbrella Wellness Center opened its doors with a clear mission: to provide safe, supportive housing and meaningful resources for individuals committed to recovery. What began with our first male certified recovery residence quickly grew to include a female certified recovery residence, allowing us to serve more individuals on their recovery journey here in Westminster, Maryland.
As we celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are incredibly proud of what has been accomplished in such a short time—and even more excited about what lies ahead.

Our Commitment to Recovery-Focused Support
Umbrella Wellness Center exists to do more than provide housing. Our goal is to help residents build stability, purpose, and long-term success in recovery. This includes access to resources, peer support, and opportunities to grow within the recovery field itself.
As part of that commitment, we are currently supporting two house managers as they work toward earning their Peer Recovery Specialist certifications. We are always looking to welcome residents who are interested in working in the recovery field and giving back to others through lived experience.
